Friends, Sponsors and Supporters who turned up last Saturday, the 5th June 2010 in big numbers at our Celebration of Football!

Thanks also to Councillor Devine and Councillor Lawson and our distinguished VIPs Guests - Graeme Lightbody and Tony Fitzpatrick for their attendance, entertainment and presentation of awards.

Enjoy your Summer Break and please encourage your wee or young footballer to watch the World Cup Finals and hopefully be inspired.

You never know, it might be them that represents Scotland, the next time we manage to get through Qualifying! The last time was in 1998, when Tony Fitzpatrick formed the Club as St Mirren Footbal Club Boy's Club.

And just so that you know... ...Fun Four and Soccer Sevens teams are roll-called at the Presentation Night, for them it's all about development.

11-a-side teams are not - for the simple reason, that they are 'competitive' - trying to be the best that they can be - hence Top Goal-Scorer, Most Improved, Player's Player and Player of the Year!

We roll-call competitive teams only in exceptional circumstances. And as our Under 15s were League Champions, which is pretty exceptional, they were the only competitive team to be roll-called!
